My mom and I stopped in at Home Plate while thrifting around Marysville and were so glad we did! The pub has more of a sports bar feel, which we didn't expect from the gastropub description, but the food and the hospitality were absolutely top notch.

I love this place. Its a football lovers dream when the Hawks play, it's a fun wild yet not to rowdy crowd with some seriously awesome traditions that the owner puts on. The food is amazing. Honestly from the outside it doesn't look like much but I have sat there for hours with friends and never gotten a huff or puff from a waitress, the food is always fast, hot and delicious.

Don't miss the opportunity to stop in and eat here. The food is incredible. All home made, no frozen or pre-made food. The bacon jalapeños stuffed with blue cheese and chili honey sauce is to die for. I had the chicken pizza with BBQ sauce, feta cheese, pineapple, jalapeños and cheese. It was the best pizza I've had in a really long time.

What a great local spot! I was shopping at the Outlet Mall near here, found Home Plate on Yelp and decided to come by for lunch and to watch the Seahawks. So glad I did! The owner is a rabid Hawks fan and put on a Hawks "sermon" during halftime. Great stuff! While the menu is a bit small, everything looks great - I ordered the chorizo burger and added sautéed jalapeños and it was fantastic! I would definitely order it again! The service friendly and fast as well.

This place has my heart. Being that I work down the street from there often I found myself alone on a random thursday for a late lunch. I had heard good things about this place (from yelp) and i stopped here. There were maybe 4 or 5 other people here and a bartender who all said hello to me and invited me into their old folksy banter as soon as I came in. That was so welcoming and instantly made me feel better since I was alone.

yup...5 stars. its a dive but they have a lot of integrity in their food. all fresh just the way i like it! way i see it is if more people knew about this place there would be a line to eat here. highly recommended. i tried two different plates and they were both excellent. the staff and the customers were both very friendly too. try the bacon wrapped jalapenos!

I'm going all-in on a five-star review simply because this place is a hidden gem. Drive up and you're going to swear this is just an average local bar... Au contraire! Spectacular service. Lovely people that really strive to make everyone feel welcome. There are a lot of regulars here but don't fear, you're safe. After much reading through the menu we decided on testing the grinder and a dish of mac'n'cheese with added carne asada. Tater wedges with the grinder were well cooked and came with a sauce side - tartar was the call this time. Excellent homemade sauce! Made the taters taste like roasted potato salad spears. Both dishes were inhaled.

This place surprised me. I went in expecting chicken bites to be simple pub food and I was actually getting annoyed when it was taking so long.... But then the food came out and it was awesome. The chicken bites app was a bowl full enough for a meal for me and the bites were legit backed and breaded chicken. They were so tender I though they were undercooked and had I keep checking but they never were. The BBQ sauce they gave us was soo spicy and sweet. The wedge fries were baked to complete awesome. A slight char on the edges and obviously backed like the chicken. The food makes up for the slowness of getting it.

I love to find a good dive bar, and this was a gem! There were plenty of TVs to watch the game on and the menu was large! My friend and I ended up getting the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken Pesto Pizza. The sandwich was very creamy and just messy enough, nothing excessive. The best part of it was the bread which must've been toasted because it had the perfect crunch... I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. I would like to come on one of their special nights: Trivia Tuesday, Whiskey Wednesday, Karaoke Saturday.

Friendly service and patrons. Husband had the BLT&A with homemade potato wedges. Awesome! I had the carne Asada tacos which were very good. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Great little place reminded me of my old holler, the Dutch Goose in Topeka. Great burgers and not your typical bar fare. Lots of choices on the menu. All yummy.

This is a great little sports bar in Marysville. Very homey, laid back, "Cheers"-type of place. Everyone seems to know each other and are all buddies. They have great drinks and pretty good food. There are a few dart boards, a counter top video game type system, and really fun trivia every Tuesday night! Definitely check it out!

From the excellent service to the outstanding food this place is a keeper! The bacon wrapped jalapeños were to die for and the burgers were lip smacking good! It's kinda hidden, even though it's right on a busy street, but it Is well worth looking for!

Fantastic local pub. Friendly staff, local flavor, amazing and unexpected food (Asian green beans instead of French fries) and mine carne asada tacos), and well-made/affordable drinks. Definitely my favorite local bar!
