The Home Plate Pub
Governed by the principles of having an outstanding beverage selection, great service, home made food, unique entertainment and most importantly, camaraderie amongst it’s clientele, the Home Plate Pub stands out as the place in Marysville to go, relax and have fun with your friends, without all the hassles found in many bars.
Come in and enjoy sporting events on our many plasma screens, electronic darts, dart leagues and tournaments, pool, or just some good old conversation over a hand crafter ale.
"Please note" We seriously, take a sick pleasure, in exercising our right, to refuse service to anyone.
We do not promote, power drinking, over pouring, a happy hour, or host events that cater to the lowest common denominator.
The pub is affectionately called “Home” by our long time customers, but is also nick named, The “Temple of Beer”, by our legion of disciples, thru our history of producing an ever evolving, original, live halftime show, dedicated to Seahawks Football, presented during every televised Seahawks game.
The halftime show, written and performed by our “Minister of Beer”, Grand Master, “Juan Ho-Neiman”, is known county wide as the one and only, Conduit to the Football Gods, who possesses secret, magical powers. When preaching the comedic doctrine of the Seahawks, promoting undying faith in the team, the Great Conduits purpose is to unify the crowds’ positive energy into one critical mass, and transfer it, up to the heavens, so upon the ears of the football gods it will rest.
Full of many rituals that parody various religions, having very adult humor and crowd participation, we suggest that if you lack a sense of humor, don’t come during the game.
We have renamed Sunday as “Football Day” and our bartenders as “Beer Goddesses”. We ask that you remember; when coming to the pub on Football Day, you are coming to Temple. So dress (Seahawks gear), and act accordingly (have faith and be vocal).
The Football Gods are listening.
